What this page covers

This site connects to Iron Key Commerce's own eBay seller account so we can keep our listings in one place, sells our own items, and takes requests from people who want to sell us equipment.

What we read from eBay

With the account owner's permission, we read our own active listings (item number, title, price, quantity and status) and our own order records. The permission is read only. This site cannot change, end or create eBay listings.

How we store it

Listing data is kept in our private database. eBay's access key is encrypted before it is stored and is never shown on any page.

What we don't do

We don't sell or share this data, and we don't use it for advertising. We don't collect data about eBay buyers beyond what appears in our own order records.

When you buy from this site

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card or bank account number. Stripe shares with us your name, email, phone number, the shipping address if you choose shipping, and what you bought, so we can arrange pickup or delivery and keep our records. We use this only for your order and never sell it or use it for advertising.

When you ask us to buy your equipment

When you use the sell form, we keep your name, email or phone number, the city or ZIP code you enter, the details you enter, your photos, and the page and link that brought you to the form, so we can review your request, reply, and see which of our pages people use. We may use an AI assistant to help us organize and summarize your request; a person at Iron Key Commerce makes every decision and sends every reply. If we decline, we delete your photos and personal details within 30 days of that decision and keep only the fact that a request was declined, the dates and the page it came from. We never sell your information or share your phone number or address.

Texts and calls

If you text or call our business number, we keep the messages, any photos you text, and voicemails with their transcripts, together with your request, so we can review it and reply. We only text you about your own request, never for marketing, and a person sends every text. Reply STOP at any time to stop texts from us; we keep a record of your opt-out so we do not text you again. We do not record live phone calls. If we decline your request, texts, photos and voicemails are deleted with the rest of your details within 30 days.

Cookies and analytics

We do not use advertising cookies. The site may keep a short note in your browser about which link brought you here, so we can tell which of our pages work. No third party sees it.

Removing eBay access

The eBay account owner can remove this site's access at any time in eBay account settings, under third party app access.
